'I spent an excellent week in the D’Orcia Valley - it's a superb location for both landscape and town photography. The hotel was situated in a quiet location but within a comfortable walking distance of San Quirico and reasonable driving distances from endless photo opportunities. 'We had an excellent and enjoyable time in Tuscany. Ashley and Wayne have an intimate knowledge of the Val D’Orcia and took us to many beautiful locations at the times when the light was best for photography. They were always prepared to help and offer expert suggestions. The hotel and breakfast were very good and the location perfect for early morning views over the Val D’Orcia. 'I was so grateful to learn about several absolute essentials, like the value of getting up to catch the sunrise, using a tripod more, using quality filters and the value of good composition. I have got more winning photographs from pictures taken on the trip with you than any other trip to-date. I now go out shooting sunrises in the UK. At a recent competition at my camera club, two of my prints came equal first – one of the UK, one of Tuscany. I had never won a competition before!
